The film opens promisingly with an awesome opening sequence. I really like the code-based graphical transitions; it's almost a shame to waste them on a spoof.

Some spoof, though. Three minutes have gone by and I haven't laughed once. (Admittedly, a chuckle came a few seconds later, with "Hold on, I'm not done." But you get my point.) Too much of the 'humor' here is just Morpheus spitting out incomprehensibilities followed by Neo asking a silly question.

Some agents interrogate Neo in a room that very convincingly replicates the one in the original film. And the fight scene between Morpheus and Neo is well-choreographed and wonderfully shot. (And the pattycake joke gave me a smile.)

This film has absolutely excellent production values. But unfortunately, it's simply not all that funny. And I'm no Matrix fan, but I've seen funny Matrix spoofs. All the good shots and effects are nothing in a comedy if the viewer doesn't laugh.
