South Park + Star Wars = funny.

There's trailers (shot-for-shot spoofs of TPM's trailers), a Christmas special (setting a precedent for co-creator Ted Bracewell's How the Sith Stole Christmas) and a "movie". Well, specifically a movie that at 5:37 abruptly changes into a music video.

The problem with the trailers is that they don't show any creativity. It's an exercise in craft, not art. And yes, all the shot-for-shot mixing is spot-on. But the 2MuchTime crew doesn't add anything to it.

When they got to open up, break from the restraints of mocking someone else's shots, things worked better. Much better. Take the movie. Doesn't that music at 6:46 work well with the DVDA song? How about showing the duels on the podrace monitors?

And Cartman/Yoda dancing. Oh. My. God. The joke is obvious, but it's still funny. There's a rumor that Lucas had that shot on his computer desktop for a while. Hmm.

If you love those foul-mouthed little tykes, as I do, you'll want these anyway. But don't expect anything to shock you. On the other hand, it's better stuff than some.
